INSTALLATION PACKAGE
ArkWorks announces our newest version - now compatible with Windows™ 7 (32 & 64 bit), Windows™ Vista (64 bit), and Windows™ Server 2008 operating systems. The supported databases now include SQL Server 2008. Follow the appropriate instructions below to download the latest version of ArkWorks.ALL USERS:
Microsoft Office 2007 is recommended for ArkWorks users To download and install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack, click here.
NEW USERS:
If you have never installed ArkWorks, you are considered a NEW USER. Please follow steps 1 - 2.
Step 1. Click here to download ArkWorks.
Step 2. Follow the on-screen directions to install the software. Step-by-step installation instructions may be found in the ArkWorks Knowledge Base. Refer to document Installation (SQL 2008 version) Instructions (Server, Standalone, Workstation),
under the Installs (SQL 2008) heading.
EXISTING USERS:
If you have ArkWorks installed, you are an EXISTING USER. Please follow steps 1 - 5.
Step 1. Ensure all existing ArkWorks data has been backed up. Detailed instructions on backup may be found in the ArkWorks Knowledge Base. Refer to documents Backup Process
and Prepare Full Backup From Arkworks under the Backup and Restore heading.
Step 2. Uninstall the existing product. Detailed instructions on unistall are found in the ArkWorks Knowledge Base. Refer to document ArkWorks (SQL 2008 version) Un-Install Instructions
under the Installs (sql 2008) heading.
Step 3. Click here to download ArkWorks.
Step 4. Follow the on-screen directions to install the software. Step-by-step installation instructions may be found in the ArkWorks Knowledge Base. Refer to document Installation (SQL 2008 version) Instructions (Server, Standalone, Workstation),
under the Installs (SQL 2008) heading.
Step 5. Upon completion of the installation you will need to restore your existing ArkWorks data. Detailed instructions on Restore may be found in the ArkWorks Knowledge Base. Refer to documents ArkWorks Restore Process (SQL 2008 version) and ArkWorks Restore Process (Old MSDE) under the Backup and Restore heading.
